Bio

Sarah Toland is a veteran coauthor and collaborator who has written more than a dozen books, including several New York Times bestsellers. She specializes in crafting memoirs and narrative-based prescriptive books that inspire readers to think and dream beyond the page, all while capturing the voice and stories of her authors with incredible accuracy, clarity, and care. A former senior-level editor for Men’s Journal and Prevention, she has also written for The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and other eminent publications.    

Sarah began her career as a writer after graduating salutatorian and summa cum laude from Colby College in Maine. A former elite-level runner, she also qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. Today, she lives in New York City, where, as a ghostwriter, she also haunts the opera, ballet, theater, art museums, high-rate restaurants, low-brow dive bars, and eastern ocean whenever she can.
